USB pen camera

This camera was $16 shipped from Ebay. It comes with an 8 gig internal card, and actually works as a pen if you would want to be a spy. The size of the thing, and the fact that it has a bunch of holes all over the side, may get you in trouble with the KGB or Mafia to be honest. But since my brain does rocketry most of the time, I see this as a great little parasite camera. More aerodynamic than my other keychain camera, if somewhat heavy. But better still, it points sideways while my other camera points down. So they really complement each other. Indeed it would be fun to get two videos from one flight, and run them side-by-side in a youtube video.

Two issues remain. First, it is heavy and made out of metal bits. I wonder how the RSO will feel about that? And also, there is a power switch at the top that may be engaged during flight. With some testing, it should become clear how well it works.

PS check out the two "Gum-sticd Recirder Manual" packets included! The instructions are usually very hard to follow for these cameras, but clearly that is because the person making them does not speak English as a primary language. It is still better than my guides in mandarin...
